RED PATCH BOYS CHARTER We are the voice in the stands filled with passion, pride and purpose for every minute of every game. Article 1 – Identification The name of the organization shall be The Red Patch Boys Supporters Club Toronto, hereinafter tabbed the “Club”. Article 2 – Objectives. The Red Patch Boys will support Toronto FC.  We will encourage minutiae of the sport in the country of Canada.  We will encourage membership in the Red Patch Boys and participation in its events. Article 3 – Organization The Club shall be well-balanced of members as hereinafter set out and it shall be managed by an Executive steering constituted as stated in these by-laws.  The Club will pinion to all Municipal, Provincial and Federal government Laws and By-Laws. Article 4 – Membership Memberships will be misogynist throughout the year.  Every using for membership shall be made in writing and must contain the applicant’s full name, address, including postal lawmaking email write and telephone number.  Applicants are encouraged to be on the Red Patch Boys internet message board. The supporters group shall consist of “Regular” and “Honoured” members. Membership applications are voluntary, and are to be recommended by Team Leaders.  They are moreover subject to clearance by Executive council. Candidates may be brought forward by existing members or wield as individuals. Regular member: A person who has paid the yearly membership fee, and is considered a member in good standing. A member is not in good standing if they have been sanctioned with a suspension, disciplinary action, or have been deemed by the Executive steering to be unfit as a member. Honoured Member: Honoured members status will be designated by the Executive steering in recognition of extended service to the supporters group. Past Presidents will receive firsthand “Honoured” status upon retirement. Members who have served a minimum of 10 years “active service” will be considered for inclusion by the executive steering at its yearly season ending meeting. “Active service” shall include participation in RPB teams, as well as those having made outstanding contributions to the irradiation of the club. Special circumstance may indulge the workbench to designate “Honoured status” to other individuals in unique cases by unanimous visualization of the executive.  There will be a limit of no increasingly than 2 honoured members per year. Termination of Membership: Membership may be terminated by uncontrived request of the member, failure to pay membership dues, or for individual deportment deemed unfit by the Executive council.  Dues are not refundable if a member is terminated from the group. Article 5 – Executive steering The Executive steering constitutes the Officers of the Supporters group and is comprised of President Vice President Communications / Secretary Treasurer Additional members may be scheduled at the discretion of the President on a yearly basis. The Treasurer and Communications Officer will be scheduled by the President to ensure the highest stratum of integrity is maintained in these positions. Other ExecutiveSteeringmembers will be scheduled by the President based on performance as a member of an RPB team, years of service to the club, or outstanding dedication to the cause. The President and Vice President shall both serve a two-year term. The ExecutiveSteeringwill have the validity to legitimatize spending up to the limit of $1000.  This limit does not include normal operating expenditures.  The majority of the membership at a Members meeting must legitimatize any expenditure whilom this amount. Any two (2) members of the ExecutiveSteeringhave the validity to sign cheques relating to club business, one (1) of the signatures must be that of the President or the Treasurer. Team Leaders: These positions are scheduled by the Executive steering and maybe extended, or terminated, based on the groups needs, and the performance of the team leader in the previous year. Article 6 – Duties of Officers The President shall preside at all meetings, rule on any questions and points of order.  In addition, the President will have the deciding vote in specimen of a tie.  Act as a spokesperson for the Club unless such responsibilities are delegated.  The President shall have the power to sublease a qualified member to temporarily fill any vacancy that may occur in any elective office until such time as towardly notices are sent to the membership for the holding of an referendum to fill the vacancy. The Vice-President shall squire the President in the performance of their duties; perform the duties of the President when the President is woolgathering from meetings.  He/she shall have other duties as assigned. The Communications officer shall be responsible for corporate wires of the Club.  These duties include but are not limited to, giving notice of all meetings, shepherd unstipulated meetings and alimony minutes of such meetings.  Minutes of such meetings are to be read at the next meeting.  Be the custodian of all club minute books, club files and club correspondence files. The Treasurer shall be responsible for all financial wires of the Club.  These duties include but are not limited to, keeping full and well-judged records of all revenues and expenses, presenting a financial report at the AGM and other meetings as required, petrifaction all money, maintain one or increasingly wall finance in the club name.  The Treasurer shall present a financial position update at each members meeting.  In addition, as part of theYearlyGeneral Meeting the Treasurer shall present a full Financial Statement for the previous timetable year. Article 7 – Elections The President and Vice President will be selected via individual secret ballot voting at theYearlyYear EndUnstipulatedMeeting. Each member is entitled to one vote, and must be in attendance, and in good standing, in order to tint his or her vote. The official terms of the officers shall embark immediately upon verification of the voting. Only Regular members are eligible to hold office in the Executive council. Executives may only be nominated, or appointed, without serving the Red Patch Boys as a team leader, or in flipside position of zippy responsibility. The current President and Vice President shall declare their candidacy for a subsequent term no later than 10 days without the conclusion of the TFC season. (Regular season or playoffs, whichever runs longer) New nominations for either post must be submitted in writing to the Communications Officer no later than 15 days from the conclusion of the TFC season. Candidates must fulfill the requirements laid out in the requirements for an Executive steering position. The Communications Officer shall prepare ballots for the voting membership, tabulate and record the votes, notify the candidates of the results, and then notify the unstipulated membership of the final tabulations. The referendum will be conducted at theYearlyGeneral Year End Meeting of the Supporters group every second year. In the event of a tie vote for any office, the Communications Officer shall poll the members of the previous Executive steering by secret ballot to resolve the tie. If for any reason the President is unable to siphon out the duties of the office, the position shall be filled by a candidate chosen from the Executive steering pursuit an Executive vote. Vacancies in the other offices may be filled by visit of the Executive steering until the next election. A member of the Executive steering may be removed from office by a petition signed by a two thirds (2/3) majority of the members. Article 8 – Meetings There will be anYearlyYear EndUnstipulatedMeeting to be held at the Executive councils chosen location.  Members will be given 30 days notification of the date, location and time.  Executive steering shall hold meetings at least once every month for the conducting of Club business. Any member of the Executive steering who is woolgathering from three (3) subsequent Executive steering meetings  without “just cause” could be subject to a vote for removal from the Executive council. AUnstipulatedMembers meeting shall be held at least every three (3) months or whenever deemed necessary by the Executive council. Ubietyfor all club members meetings is limited to paid members in good standing.  Guests are admitted only at the invitation of the Executive council. Members shall be notified in whop of all members meetings. All meetings shall be conducted in the manner of and pursuit the rules of order equal to parliamentary procedure. A two thirds (2/3) majority vote is needed to pass any motions.  The yearly upkeep will require a simple majority of the members’ vote. SpecialUnstipulatedmeetings may be tabbed by the Executive steering by its own motion.  All members shall receive fourteen (14) days notice of the date, time and location of an SpecialUnstipulatedMeeting.  Only the merchantry for which a SpecialUnstipulatedMeeting has been tabbed for will be dealt with, except with the unanimous consent of the voting members present. Article 9 – DuesYearlymembership dues are to be established by a majority vote of the Executive steering by January 15 of each year. Article 10 –WillpowerAll matters of willpower will be under the jurisdiction of the Executive council. Any Executive steering member or Team Leader has the right to ask anyone causing trouble of any kind within the club boundaries to leave the function and maybe considered “unwelcome” until notified of any disciplinary deportment without a meeting of the Executive council.  The member will be notified to shepherd a disciplinary meeting.  Club boundaries include but are not limited to: Away trips, Tailgates, Group Marches, Pub nights and social events. Racism, negative prejudice and violence is not condoned by the Red Patch Boys.  Participation in these activities will result in disciplinary deportment and can lead to expulsion from the group. All guests shall be subject to the same rules in this section. Article 11 – Amendments All proposed amendments to the constitution shall be forwarded in writing to the Club no later than December 31 of the year prior to theYearlyGeneral Meeting or fourteen (14) days prior to a SpecialUnstipulatedMeeting tabbed for that purpose. Amendments to the constitution will require a two thirds (2/3) majority of the members’ votes present.
